Follow Us:

Compensation Targets
Common Compensation: Targets the entire power system, improving the power factor of substations and distribution networks, enhancing overall power quality, and ensuring stable grid operation.
Split Compensation: Focuses on specific circuits like low-voltage cables or transformer groups, improving local power factors, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing voltage and transmission capacity.

Installation Methods
Common Compensation: Capacitors are installed on the load side or in parallel with the system load.
Split Compensation: Capacitors are installed separately on each phase, either in parallel or connected to specific phase lines via reactors.

Capacity Differences
Common Compensation: Requires larger capacitors to correct the entire system's power factor, typically controlled via automatic or manual switching.
Split Compensation: Uses smaller capacitors tailored to each phase's needs, dynamically adjusting based on load changes.
